2023 Creative Writing Prize Winners Announced!

The Creative Writing Prize asks secondary school students write a poem, short story, play or graphic novel which responds to an image from the Manar al-Athar Digital Archive. The competition is a collaboration between the Faculty of Classics at the University of Oxford, the Oxford Centre for Byzantine Research, and Manar al-Athar.

In 2023, more than 325 students participated. The winning entries can be
